Linthwaite House is part of the Leeu Collection’s luxury hospitality portfolio, and we are looking for new team members to join the Leeu family, in our beautifully refurbished Hotel overlooking Lake Windermere.

With a fabulous eye for detail, you will have worked in a similar environment, cleaning and preparing guest rooms and public areas. This is a full time role, working 5 days over 7, however there may be an opportunity to work part time or shorter shift patterns.

Job Duties:
Guest Care -Making beds, cleaning bedrooms, cleaning public areas

Room Attendant Requirements:

Experience in a similar position in a five-star hotel will be considered a strong asset
Advanced use of English language
Extra languages will be considered an asset
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Teamwork spirit
Customer-orientated

Linthwaite House is located in the heart of the Lake District and set in 14 acres (5.7 hectares) of established gardens and well-maintained woodland grounds with a private tarn. The property boasts breathtaking views over Lake Windermere and the fells beyond. The Lake District is renowned for its glacial ribbon lakes, rugged fell mountains and historic literary associations, as well as traditional inns and galleries displaying local art. It has recently been awarded World Heritage status.

Linthwaite House has 30 individually designed rooms, plus six brand-new, luxurious Woodland Suites.Our Restaurant, a new, informally elegant restaurant by Simon Rogan. True to the Simon Rogan’s ethos, the focus lies on beautiful local ingredients, including produce from his own “Our Farm” located just a few miles away in the Cartmel Valley. Henrock’s á la carte menu features small plates and sharing dishes that are influenced by techniques and produce discovered on the chefs travels around the world.

The Bar & Conservatory also offers all-day casual dining, as well as a cocktail menu. Fine worldwide vintages from the cellar, as well as our own Mullineux & Leeu Family Wines range from Franschhoek in South Africa, are also on offer.
