Linthwaite House, the luxurious Lake District Hotel that is part of Leeu Collection, is looking for a Financial Controller.
This role will work closely with the Head of Finance and COO of Leeu Collection (whom is based in South Africa). In line with a luxury brand, you will deliver first class financial information, develop, implement and manage procedures as well as play a part in the future success of the business.
The role will require someone who is both technically strong, commercially minded, and has a ‘hands on’ approach.
You will have the ability to provide expertise and have accountability for reconciliations, accruals, VAT and tax returns through to the development of monthly management and annual statutory accounts including stock taking. In addition to having full ownership of all accounting aspects you will need to interact with all business areas.
The role is based at our property in Bowness-On-Windermere, and will be an onsite role. Direct line report is to the Head of Finance and COO whom is based in South Africa, with dotted line reporting to the onsite Area Manager.
The successful candidate will be appropriately qualified with proven experience of working in luxury hotels / hospitality and a minimum of 5 years experience
