Castle Green Hotel, is Kendal’s only 4 star property overlooking Kendal castle and the Lakeland Fells. The hotel boasts 99 bedrooms, 2 AA rosette Greenhouse Restaurant, it’s own pub in the grounds - Alexander’s, extensive conference and banqueting facilities. Pulse Fitness & Health Club and the Green Rooms Spa.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Housekeeping team as Linen Porter.

Job Role:

- Ensure correct type of linen is collected from the line store and transported to appropriate areas
- Ensure dirty linen from the floors are transported to appropriate area and counted as per items
- Clean areas including floors, elevators, lobbies, hallways, service areas, stairwells according to
description
- Collect and disposed rubbish in assigned areas
- Reports all maintenance issues on daily basis
- Ensure all work regulation such as COSHH and Manual Handling are followed

Hours and shifts are flexible and can include early mornings, weekends and evenings and everything in between.
