The Lake District Hotel Association represents some of the finest and largest independent and branded properties in Cumbria.  Cumbria’s visitor economy is hugely important to our way of life: the county hosts around 47 million tourists annually which sustains approximately 26% of the county’s working population and over 20% of our economy. 

This role is a senior administration role and can be undertaken over 1 full day or throughout the week interspersed between other work.

  1. To support the LDHA Management Group, setting up meetings (6 per year), taking minutes and ensuring actions from the meeting are completed

  2. Provide administration support to the LDHA Chairperson.

  3. Set up, facilitate, take minutes and ensure actions are completed for the membership meetings (6 per year).

  4. Recruit new members to the association, ensuring they fully understand how to make the most of the membership benefits.

  5. Liaise with LDHA partners and sponsors to ensure they gain maximum exposure as a sponsor.

  6. B2B and LDHA presence via LinkedIn to promote all people activity 

  7. General administration associated with the LDHA to include responding to enquiries, liaising with members and partners.
