Not only are we at the start of a new year, as a hotel, the Lakeside Hotel is at the start of a new chapter in its history. After recently being acquired by Classic Lodges, the hotel is moving towards a period of investment and development. 

We are seeking an experienced housekeeper to join our senior team within the Housekeeping department of this 73 bedroom luxury hotel. We require a hands on individual able to help look after and manage the housekeeping department. As Assistant Head Housekeeper you will have previous Housekeeping experience in a senior supervisory capacity, previous hotel experience is ideal. You will have great leadership skills and be friendly and motivated.

The Role :

  • Cleanliness of bedrooms to our own high standards

  • Ensuring all our public areas are in good order

  • Reporting any maintenance issues to the maintenance team

  • Help manage stocks of linen, towels, and room supplies

The Person:

  • Be friendly and a team player

  • Be able to remain calm under time pressures

  • Provide genuine hospitality to our guests

  • Be able to work as part of the team

  • Have a drivers license and access to own vehicle due to our rural location
