Have you an interest in horticulture and would like to turn this into a career? Are you a keen gardener wanting to develop your passion?
Our new Garden Apprentice role could be just the thing for you. You will support our Head Gardener look after the grounds of the Lakeside Hotel and will be given the opportunity to learn new gardening skills and be trained in all aspects of garden maintenance.
The garden at Lakeside Hotel is an interesting mature and developing garden with woodland and many specimen plants and shrubs. A positive and friendly and approach is required as interacting with hotel guests is an integral part of what the team do here.
What we are looking for:
Have a desire to build a career in Horticulture
Be an enthusiastic, motivated individual with a positive can-do attitude
Be a team player with the willingness to learn new skills
Can interact with colleagues and guests in a friendly and professional manner
You will be trustworthy and dependable
Are aged 16 or above

Rates of pay starting at £8 for 15-16 year olds, £9 for 17-20 year olds, £9.50+ for 21+
