The Person:
We’re looking for a tech-savvy creative individual to join Lakeland Arts during an exciting period of digital growth and innovation. The new Digital Marketing Assistant will help us engage audiences, build visitor numbers and increase earned income across all our venues.
Working closely with colleagues across the organisation, the Digital Marketing Assistant will support our digital marketing and communications strategies by creating and delivering exceptional digital campaigns using social media channels, digital advertising and our website.
You’ll work closely with the Business Development and Visitor Experience teams on developing our new online shop.
You’ll be a digitally minded multi-tasker and be keen to learn new skills, both on the job and through available training and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Be our social media guru for all Lakeland Arts venues, creating and scheduling compelling content (posts, lives, reels, web pages, high-quality video and photography) maximise social media advertising opportunities, build followers, engagement and diversify our social audiences and reach
Support the Senior Digital Officer to map out and plan an engaging and relevant programme of multi-channel digital campaigns aimed at increasing visitor engagement
Support the Senior Digital Officer to create quality content through photography, video, simple design and animation, including editing, and captions
Work with the Senior Digital Officer to edit, update, optimise and analyse our website (WordPress)
Promoting our new online shop
Write engaging copy with our key audiences in mind, including social media posts, web shop product descriptions and event pages for our website
Keep up to date with trends and technology to help Lakeland Arts stay relevant and ahead of the curve
Be a brand guardian for both staff and external audiences• Know our existing and potential audiences inside out, and what they want from Lakeland Arts. Be curious and proactive about ways to grow our audiences.
Support the Senior Digital Officer in collecting digital analytics to make sure our communications are engaging, relevant and effective
Champion accessible, intelligent communication across all media and digital platforms to share information with the widest possible audience
Utilise the CRM for digital marketing purposes
Manage relationships with external social media partners
• Manage online listings
Support the organisation in ensuring GDPR is adhered to
Support the organisation’s privacy policy, including coordinating photography permissions
