Lakeland Arts currently run popular, and highly successful, retail enterprises at Blackwell, the Arts & Crafts house and Windermere Jetty Museum. Product ranges include unique items selected from a range of specialist artisan makers, as well as bespoke merchandise, books and gifts.
As part of an exciting year-long project to bring digital innovation to Lakeland Arts, we’re looking for a detail-focused individual to support the Business Development and Visitor Experience teams to help increase earned income through our retail offer.
The Retail Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate stock control records, as well as working within the project team that will develop and deliver our new online retail offer.
Duties:
Key Responsibilities
Online retail
Work within the project team to develop and deliver the new online shop
Once launched, work with the Digital Assistant and the Buyer to maintain the online shop
Gather product data, and enter onto the EPOS system
Monitor stock levels, working closely with the Buyer to maintain adequate levels
Process effective fulfillment of orders Pick, pack and post web orders
Pack orders to a high standard, delivering a quality experience for our customers while maintaining safety of their purchases
Produce regular reports on sales performance to inform future retail planning
Stock Control
Support the Buyer to maintain stock control systems and processes for both shops and online shop
Maintain incoming and outgoing stock processes
Maintain effective stock control, ensuring all products are accurately logged on the system and correctly priced
Support rolling stock checks and annual stock take
Produce regular stock and sales reports
