After 16 years’ service at the hotel our long serving executive chef is moving onto pastures new leaving a rare and exciting opportunity for us to welcome a new Executive Chef to the senior leadership team.
With a food turnover approaching £2 million our food and beverage facilities cater for extensive conferences, weddings, banquets and social events, a contemporary restaurant and ‘Alexanders’ our casual dining offer located separately in the grounds of the property.
We seek an enthusiastic, creative, commercially focused and motivational leader to positively influence the future direction and style of our food offering. The successful candidate needs to be genuinely passionate about food and enjoy cooking whilst having a flare for the hospitality industry overall and the capability to identify and develop talent. A natural team player across the entire business the individual will have overall responsibility for three kitchens, each with its own senior chef and be able to oversee the smooth running of our operation with a team of some 20 talented chefs and porters.
This role is not for the timid or faint hearted – the right person must want to live and work in a this beautiful part of the UK and be capable of shaping and delivering change. In return we offer a highly competitive market salary plus package to include straight shifts and flexible hours.
